Dr. Ozgur Binbash, traumatologist and orthopedic surgeon, was born in 1977 in Usak and grew up in various cities in Turkey due to his father’s professional duties. He earned his degree in medicine in 2001 at Dokuz Eylul University Education and Research Hospital in Izmir. After specializing in orthopedics and traumatology at the same hospital, he became a specialist in the field in January 2008.
After completing his mandatory service at Muradiye Hospital in Van, he excelled in the military exam and served in the military hospital in Izmir. With over twenty years of experience as a physician, since 2023, he continues to provide medical services at Medera Clinic.
His main area of expertise includes joint replacement surgeries and arthroscopic surgery, but he also performs general orthopedic procedures such as bone fracture treatments and deformity surgery.
Academic and scientific activities include training programs such as “Application of the Ilizarov Method from TOTBID,” “Application of Unilateral External Fixator,” shoulder and elbow surgery basics, fundamentals of arthroplasty, basics of AO trauma, advanced assessment course of AO trauma, knee arthroscopy at TOTEK XVIII, and shoulder arthroscopy at TOTEK VIII.
Membership in scientific organizations includes the Turkish Medical Association / Istanbul Medical Association, and the Turkish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatologists.
