Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. İdris AVCI was born in Ordu in 1988.
In 2014, he graduated from Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine. In 2020, he received his specialty title in Neurosurgery from Health Sciences University Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital (Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital). Between 2020-2022, he worked at Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif Inan Training and Research Hospital. In this process, he worked as chief of the Brain and Neurosurgery clinic. In 2022, he received his “Fundamental Neuroscience and Neuroimaging” diploma from John Hopkins University of the USA. 2022-He is still working as a Neurosurgery and Neurosurgery specialist at Memorial Hospitals Group. In 2023, he graduated from Sakarya University of Applied Sciences with a degree in Health Tourism Responsibility.
In 2023, he started teaching at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine as Dr. Lecturer. In 2023, he started to lecture with the title of Dr. Lecturer at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine and as of October 2023, he started to serve as a Brain, Nerve and Spine Surgery Specialist (Consultant Physician) at Medera Clinic.
On 2024, he received his FIFA licensed football physician certification.
Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. İdris AVCI has worked as an observer physician and research assistant in many countries such as the USA, England, Germany, the Netherlands and Slovenia throughout his professional life. He has made many written and oral presentations at the meetings of the European Assosciation of Neurosurgeons (EANS), Middle East Spine Society (MESS) and Turkish Neurosurgery (TND) associations.
He has published articles and studies in several national and international refereed journals. He is also the editor of books and author of book chapters published by many national and international publishing houses.
